Once the repair is complete and roof sections are locked, there is a short period where the structure continues to adjust. Interior materials — drywall, flooring, trim — were dried and set in a shifted position. As the house returns to level and humidity conditions change slightly, some continued movement and settling is normal for several weeks after the repair.
